He has over 33 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry and has contributed to more than 100 peer-reviewed journal papers, numerous book chapters, and two major monographs. he is an expert in gross and microscopic medical photography and has sub specialized in biomicroscopy. He is a member of the Biological Photographic Association.

E. Laura Stocker is Senior Metallographer, Materials Laboratory, Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division. An award winning photomicrographer, she is responsible for optical and scanning electron microscopy for material characterization, failure analysis and avionic production support. On the board of directors for the International Metallographic Society, she is also active in the ASM International Materials Society.

Martin Scott is a consultant in scientific imaging technology. The former director of Scientific Imaging Markets at the Eastman Kodak Company, he also lectured extensively on photomicrography. He is a past president of the Biological Photographic Association and a member of the New York Microscopical Society, The State Microscopical Society of Illinois and the Royal Microscopical Society.
